Wolf Cubs - 8 to 11 Year Olds

1st Whittingham Wolf Cubs

The Wolf Cubs are aged 8 - 11, and meet on Thursday nights at 6.30pm.

The Wolf Cub pack is based on the Jungle Book theme, and prepares the boys and girls for Scouts with a fun and adventurous programme. Whittingham Cubs enjoy climbing, tracking, map-reading, camping, Area events, science experiments, and much, much more!

Cubs are led by Akela, (Ninette), Bagheera (Maddie), Baloo (Julie), and Raksha (Tracy). Akela can be contacted at GSM@1stwhittingham.org.uk

See some of our photos as we get out on the River Etal canoeing, build bird boxes for our wildlife area by the River Aln in Whittingham, and build dens whilst on cub camp at Beanley.

The Wolf Cubs have their own Law, Promise and Motto:

The Law
The Cub gives in to the Old Wolf.
The Cub does not give in to himself.

The Promise
I promise to DO MY BEST
To do my duty to God, and to the Queen,
To keep the Law of the Wolf Cub Pack,
and to do a good turn to somebody every day.

The Motto
Do Your Best
